  • PLEASE READ PRIOR TO ANY THE SKI CLUB ACTIVITIES

    Ski Trips, Lessons and Camps

    Named Organization: The Ski Club.org – JE The Ski Club.org

    By booking a lesson, ski trip or camp with The Ski Club.org you agree to fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice.

    The Ski Club.org employees, volunteers, coaches, instructors, agents, directors, representatives, ambassadors, cannot be held liable for any bodily injuries, loss or damage to property during your holiday, including your travel, ski lesson, camp or trip and performing any exercises given in our video tutorials. Please ensure that you are adequately covered by a comprehensive winter sports insurance policy for the duration of your trip.

    In the event a deposit has been taken to secure a reservation, the remainder of the balance must be paid a minimum of 35 days prior to the commencement of the lessons, trips or camps. We reserve the right to amend this deadline in the event we receive an enquiry from another client that clashes with your reservation. In this event we will attempt contact with you to obtain the remainder of the payment. If payment is not made then we have the right to re-sell your reservation, any deposit paid will be refunded in line with our standard refund terms and conditions.

    In the event of cancellation reimbursement, it will be calculated as a percentage of the total cost of trips, camps or lessons booked, as follows:

    - Cancellation 30 days or more prior to the commencement of the first lesson: 90% refund

    - Cancellation 29 days prior or less to the commencement of the first lesson: NIL

    We cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to; bad weather, acts of God, pandemics, piste or lift closures. If skiing days must be cancelled due to these circumstances, it is not our policy to offer a refund. Please ensure you have adequate insurance cover in place to protect you against such circumstances.

    If you are unable to attend a lesson, which has been booked and paid for, due to ill health, injury or any other valid reason, no refund will be given. Upon request, we will provide a letter confirming your absence to aid you in your claim with your personal winter sports insurance provider.

    Any problems experienced within a lesson, ski trip or camp should be reported as soon as possible, in the first instance, to the ski teacher taking the lesson and thereafter to our office contact.

    - During your lessons, ski camp or trip, we may take photos of clients and children under the age of 18 skiing and boarding. Our instructors also use photography and videos to give feedback and instruction. We may use the images or footage for marketing purposes. If you do not wish us to use imagery or footage of you or your children please inform us at the time of booking. By not notifying us prior to the start of the camp, you are providing consent for these images to be used for marketing purposes.

    You will provide us with all information requested, including but not limited to; the participant’s health, participant’s age, ability level, details of any medical problems, learning difficulties or special requirements and full contact details, to ensure we can deliver a high quality lesson in a safe manner. Any information collected by us will be used in line with our Privacy Policy.

    - Children aged 18 or under must always wear a helmet whilst skiing or boarding in one of our lessons or camps.

By enrolling in membership, ski camp, ski trip or lesson with The Ski Club.org, members acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined above.

  • THE SKI CLUB.ORG ONLINE BOOKING WAIVER

    Before proceeding with your booking, please read and acknowledge the following terms and conditions:

    Assumption of Risks:

    I understand that skiing and related activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of serious bodily injury, property damage, or death. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in these activities, including the risks arising from the negligence or fault of SkiClub.org, its employees, affiliates, agents, instructors, coaches, volunteers, or other participants.

    Release and Waiver of Liability:

    By booking and participating in activities with The Ski Club.org, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue The Ski Club.org, its directors, officers, employees, agents, instructors, volunteers, or other representatives (hereinafter referred to as “Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, suits, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of or in any way related to my participation in the activities provided by The Ski Club.org.

    Indemnification:

    I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, suits, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of or in any way related to my actions or conduct during my participation in the activities provided by The Ski Club.org.

    Acknowledgment of Understanding:

    I have carefully read and fully understand the terms and conditions of this waiver. I acknowledge that by proceeding with my booking, I am giving up substantial legal rights, including the right to sue The Ski Club.org for damages in case of injury, damage, or loss.

    Prior to the beginning of your camp or trip, you are required to sign a waiver and release of liability. Failure to do so may limit or prevent your participation in activities.

  • At The Ski Club.org, accessible from theskiclub.org, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by The Ski Club.org and how we use it.

    Log Files

    The Ski Club.org follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

    Online Privacy Policy Only

    This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in The Ski Club.org. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.
